2D Compositor

We are looking for freelance 2D compositors to work with our Barcelona team.

3D Generalist

This is an opportunity for someone who has and enjoys using a broad range of 3D skills and relishes the sense of ownership that comes with variety. The scope of work ranges from commercials to longform and specialised in-house R&D projects. You may additionally have a specialised discipline that you lean toward, along with prior experience working in small teams, larger teams, and sometimes on your own.

Essential attributes:

  • Creative eye and artistic skillset
  • Technical ability across a wide range of 3D disciplines
  • 3+ yrs industry experience working with photo-real VFX
  • A high standard of quality control
  • Enthusiasm and an enquisitive mind
  • Photorealistic rendering ability
  • Excellent time management and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Calm under pressure
  • Creativity in problem solving


  • Maya or Houdini (or both)
  • Nuke (precomp and above)
  • Photoshop / mari / substance painter

Bonus (but not required):

  • Knowledge of both houdini and maya
  • Traditional 2D skills (drawing/painting etc)
  • On set/shoot supervision experience
  • Knowledge of Python / scripting
  • Interest in photography

Front Desk Representative

We are looking for an energetic, well-organized and sociable individual to take over our Front Desk office duties and support our close-knit team in our Barcelona office.

You will be responsible for efficiently running the studio, supporting all administrative tasks, and of course empowering the Glassworks studio team to be at their best all while providing great hospitality. You will take care of office and administrative tasks which will grow over the course of your role.

Here’s what your days will look like:

  • Reach our awesome office in Passeig de Gràcia and head straight to the coffee machine for a morning pick-me-up and a chat with some colleagues or pet some dogs.
  • Some front desk duties such as answering the phone and greeting visitors and clients.
  • Handle office correspondence including letters and parcels.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary including groceries, equipment...
  • Arrange travel and accommodation bookings for staff if needed.
  • Helping organize any company events.
  • Ensure a good maintenance of the studio by keeping it clean and tidy.
  • Keep up to date any office expenses and costs documents.


  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and / or Google Docs
  • Strong communication and people skills

It’s a plus if you:

  • Experience in hospitality or in customer service.
  • Fluent in Catalan
