We're thrilled to announce that two of our projects have been nominated for the prestigious Shots Awards EMEA. "Fast is in the Air," the global Nike campaign directed and produced by Glassworks, has been shortlisted in the Concept category, while Great Western Railway’s "Five Get There First" has earned a spot in the Animation (3D) category. These nominations hold special significance as they each spotlight different aspects of our creative range.
"Fast is in the Air," featuring Kylian Mbappé, was directed by Glassworks Director Albert Sala and produced by our Barcelona team. Created in collaboration with Nike and MOX, this campaign represents a significant milestone for Glassworks Barcelona as we expand our creative ambitions beyond our trademark VFX to include directing and producing exceptional and unconventional live-action projects. Being recognised and shortlisted for this Shots award is therefore an incredible source of pride.
In addition, the nomination of Great Western Railway’s "Five Get There First" in the Animation (3D) category acknowledges the incredible collaborative effort behind this original and iconic GWR ad. Co-produced by Not To Scale and Merman, Glassworks was responsible for the animation. Our talented Barcelona team expertly blended 3D and 2D animation techniques to achieve the perfect visual balance between illustration and cinema, drawing inspiration from Enid Blyton’s Famous Five books.
These two nominations reaffirm our commitment to creativity, excellence, and experimentation in visual storytelling. We eagerly anticipate the upcoming Shots Awards ceremony on the 22nd of November in London and hope to see you there!
