Introducing Vanessa Aparicio, the newest addition to our exceptional colour team!
With five years of experience as a freelance colourist, Vanessa now joins Glassworks, eager to continue creating content that deeply resonates with audiences on an emotional level. Her career in the film industry began as a production assistant, where she quickly developed a fascination for camera work and cinematography. Eager to delve deeper into colour grading, Vanessa honed her skills as a 1st and 2nd AC on set, collaborating closely with DoPs and immersing herself in the complexities of colour science.
Driven by her passion, Vanessa pursued a prestigious Master's programme at the National Film and Television School in the UK, specialising in colour grading. This experience allowed her to refine the skills she developed as an independent colourist and prepare her for a leading role in a creative studio. Notably, two of Vanessa's recent projects, the live-action short film "Gossip" and the captivating animation "The Tornado Outside," have been nominated for a Yugo BAFTA Student Award.
“I am very excited to begin this new chapter in my career, alongside such a great group of professionals. I know we share a passion for creativity not just in our work and the projects that come through the Glassworks doors, but in the desire to make a positive impact on the future of the industry as a whole. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience and vision to the mix.” - Vanessa Aparicio.
